They say that the concept of God is just a man made construct to make sense of the world that lacks reason or explanation. Although we have scientific breakthroughs every day, we still cling to the idea of a powerful being that controls our future and influenced our past. Some say it is a huge waste of time to believe in a concept that fails to support common logic. But suppose that is why it is called faith - believing in something when the rest of the world say don’t. But I am afraid that the world is slowly choosing a path without a God.

It is fascinating
to know that religion has shaped this world in one way or another. It has separated cultures and has even
sparked wars. Although you might think
that this is all in the past, it continues to persist. Religion continues to influence our
lives. But I fear that in spite of the religious influences,
we are at the risk of living in a world where values are twisted and beliefs
are shattered.
Lawlessness
abounds in daily life. From ordinary
people to high-ranking officials, corruption, crime and basic evil continues to
plague our lives. Moreover, atrocities
are perpetrated by people whom we know. Likewise, rape and murder still
threaten every person. It truly seems
like we are living in a hell that man himself created.
