Equality in the World

Gender inequality is considered a world issue because of the unequal treatment of genders. In business, male would get a higher salary than men because they say that he earns for the family. Some female workers work harder than male workers but then they still get a lower salary. Imagine this, a student studied hard for a quiz but then she failed, on the other hand, her seatmate just use a cheating technique then she failed. Isn't it unfair? If this happend to you what would you do?


Let's take a look at the history, China. They used to let women wear a foot binder because according to them it will make them look prettier. In my opinion beauty doesn't happen when you have a broken feet. There was one time, i think it was a house, there were full of girls with potus feet in there and most of them died. Why? It is hard to run with a binded feet. Questions popped up in my head, would binding men's feet make them look handsome too? For me, this showed gender inequality because it is like women were the only ones suffering.

I heard this story from my classmate and i just wanted to show the male's perspective. As a young man, he already had responsibilities; one, he is supposed to take care of her younger siblings, if something happends to his sister, he might be in trouble; second he has to learn their business at a young age because his father told him that he will be handling it when he grows up. His sister can take care of herself, just because he is a guy doesn't mean he has to be his sister's body guard right? And about the business, what if he wants to be a different person, follow other people's paths? Males also has the right to choose his way of living.

Last proof of gender inequality is in a relationship. For me, this is the best proof. Man snd women would exchange love to one another but sometimes i notice that it would be a one sided love. The girl would just keepg reciving while the boy does all the efforts. Why is it like this? Because he is the one who courted? It shouldn't be. They both accepted each other so they must treat each other the same way. In courting, i asked one of my friends that is a boy why can't they let girls court them, he said because it would make them look weak. In my mind, I disagree to that so much because when we want to be with someone, anyone could be the one asking right? Theres just this thought that males should be the one courting not the females.

I am very much against gender inequality because when we remove every single muscle, skin, nerve in our body, we all have the same skeleton, I believe that we all came from one God so treat others equaly because that is how God treated us.
